Recycling for Development

DMCDD is responsible for a fund from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs called Recycling for Development. This fund provides financial support for the shipment of donated used equipment to partners in developing countries.

The overall objective of the Recycling for Development Fund is to contribute to the development of a strong, independent and diverse civil society in developing countries. The application for the fund must be made by a Danish organisation who is in partnership with an organisation in a developing country.

The local partner must have a documented need for relevant equipment. The Danish organisation should support the local partner's capacity to carry out development work to the benefit of the poorest.
