Development Workers and Short-term Consultants
DMCDD is able to meet requests from Southern partners of DMCDD member organisations to second qualified personnel. Development Workers or Short-term Consultants can be seconded for specific, relevant and time-limited development tasks concerning health, education, capacity building and strengthening of civil society/ local communities.
To obtain support under the Mini-programme for secondment for personnel, an official and specific request from the Southern partner should be submitted in accordance with the DMCDD application form.
DMCDD can support the secondment of a Development Worker with a maximum amount of DKK 750.000. Long-term secondments of expatriats are not always beneficial in a local setting when aiming to secure local ownership and long-term sustainability. Therefore, DMCDD will particularly welcome applications for alternative short-term secondments in future.
