How to apply?
Applications may be submitted at any time of the year through the relevant Danish member organisation, which has to endorse all applications from the partner organisations before DMCDD can process the applications.
As soon as an application is received by DMCDD one of our project consultants will screen it to make sure that the application contains all relevant information and that all the formalities are fulfilled. If further information is needed this will be requested from the applicants. The application must be send by email to the project consulant responsible for the respective sector.
Applications for Mini-projects and Pilot projects will be submitted to relevant sector panels of DMCDD for comments before the applications are presented to the Board of DMCDD for approval with the comments of the panel in question.
Applications for support to Partnership programmes and activities and for Secondment of Development Workers and Short-term consultants are screened by the secretariat before being presented to the Board of DMCDD for final approval (or rejection).
After the decision of the Board the secretariat of DMCDD will inform the applicants and in case of approval produce the necessary project documents and send them to the applicants.
Normally the processing period will be one to two months if all needed information is included in the application.
Board meetings take place 4-5 times a year.
